In April 2015, an ambulance from Ukraine took an expectant mother to the hospital with a unique case. Doctors weren’t expecting anything out of the ordinary, but after the first consultation, they were confused: Even though she was only seven months pregnant, something pushed her baby out!

What is the riddle? Elena Sedova (25 years old) was expecting triplets: two fetuses in the upper part of the uterus, one in the lower part.

According to their weight, the girls above pushed their sister out. Elena has been feeling a strange movement in her stomach for the past few days, but she hoped the labor wouldn’t come prematurely.

What happened then would not happen in any other normal pregnancy: Little Likeria was born in the seventh month of pregnancy. Small and slim, it weighs just 950 grams.

The little girl was immediately placed in an incubator and doctors prepared for the birth of the other two young children. But suddenly, to everyone’s surprise, Elena’s contractions stopped, according to Perfect Media.

At that point, the doctors had to make a very difficult decision. Usually twins appear in the world with a great distance between them, e.g. B. an hour. If this period is exceeded, labor is artificially stimulated.

But now specialists don’t know whether that’s a good idea. The other two girls were younger than her sister. They just couldn’t survive, so the doctors decided to wait.

To protect the health of the children, Elena had to stay in bed all the time. She wasn’t even allowed to take care of her newborn daughter, while she was worried about the other two small children who seemed to move less and less in her belly.

A day passed, two days, a week…two weeks. Three… Doctors have already asked colleagues around the world for advice: nothing like this has ever happened in their entire career.

After 38 days, when little Likeria had grown to 1.5 kg, Elena suddenly felt very weak and thin. The doctors consulted her and decided that her due date had arrived. On the same day, two healthy and beautiful little girls appeared in the world – Zlata and Stefania. Finally Elena could hug her three children.

These unique triplets are now two years old and Likeria, who was born as small as her sisters, is just as good as her. They are all healthy and active! We wish them a life as fun and unique as they first appeared on this world.
