A 94-year-old Minnesota man was left alone after his wife died a year ago. When he wanted to start a business, he thought of building a swimming pool for the kids to have fun, which he did.

Keith Davison is left completely alone after his wife loses her battle with cancer. Evie died last year at age 90, just four days before her 66th wedding anniversary.

“You can’t imagine what it looks like. I cry a lot,” Keith told a Minnesota TV station.

If the man is left alone, come up with a solution. There was no public swimming pool in his town, so he built one in the backyard of his house. Not for him to enjoy the pool, but for his neighbors’ children.

They were even surprised when they learned of the plan of the old man, a former judge. The swimming pool opened in July and since then many children have come to the Seniorenhof every day to splash around.

“I knew he was coming. Now I’m not just staring at the walls,” the old man added.
