Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, said she was “appalled” by her sister-in-law Meghan Markle’s confessions in an interview with Oprah, and more specifically by the fact that it made her cry.

Prince William’s wife says allegations that she made Meghan Markle cry before the royal wedding two years ago are “insulting and abusive”.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl said she had never heard of the Duchess of Cambridge insulting anyone because she was “very careful about how he treated those around her”.

During the interview with Oprah, Meghan Markle said that the Duchess of Cambridge made her cry: “Kate was upset for a reason, but then she took on the incident and apologized. Then he brought me flowers. ”

“Kate never wanted to suggest to the press that she and Meghan were involved in a conflict, so this story is very hard for her,” Katie Nicholl told OK! magazine.

Nicholl added that there are “various variants” of that incident and claims that Prince Harry and Meghan are fully aware that “they are not in a position to give a reply.”

The royal expert claims that Kate Middleton was “saddened, offended and disappointed” by Meghan and Harry’s interview-event for Oprah Winfrey.
