Matt Law from the Daily Telegraph has reported that the owners of Tottenham Hotspur have made the decision to terminate their association with Antonio Conte this week.

Following the Italian’s outburst after the match, the club’s owner, Joe Lewis, and current chairman, Daniel Levy, decided to take action. Despite leading 3-1 against Southampton, two late goals from Theo Walcott and James Ward Prowse saw Spurs conceding and the match ultimately ending in a 3-3 draw.

Immediately following the result at St Mary’s, Conte laid into his players and Spurs’ ownership, labelling the players “selfish.”

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has also tweeted about Conte’s future at Spurs, adding further weight to The Telegraph’s exclusive.
