A post that was originally shared in a private Facebook group has been taking the world by storm with its sheer audacity and cold-hearted nature. A screenshot of the shocking post has gone on to be shared on multiple social media platforms, completely blowing away anyone who reads it. A woman asked an advice service for some much-needed guidance on how to navigate a tricky situation she was dealing with. She wanted her fiancé to either get rid of his 4-year-old daughter or put her up for adoption.
The woman was not a fan of the little girl at all as she constantly needed her father’s attention. Ever since the little girl’s mother passed away, she had been attached to her dad’s hip. The woman was not happy about this, especially because she and her fiancé had their own baby on the way. Being seven months pregnant and expecting to get married sometime in the upcoming years, the woman was determined to make sure she and her baby were her fiancé’s top priority.
Wanting to make sure that her biological child would receive all the love, care and attention she needed, the woman wanted her fiancé to get rid of his own daughter so they could be a happy family without her. She sought out the advice social media channel in the hopes of getting some advice on how to approach the situation with her fiancé. Instead, the post has gone on to be shared across other platforms, leaving people completely stunned at how selfish and controlling this woman seems to be.

What was once a post on a private Facebook page called Talks With Mee has now become a viral thread on Reddit with a screenshot of the post shared in December 2020. The post’s subject line read: “I want my fiancé to get rid of his 4-year-old daughter.” The message was even more appalling than the subject line as the woman who sent it in went into detail about why she couldn’t stand her fiancé’s child.
“Hi @Talkswithmee I need some advice from the mommies on your page,” the woman said. She explained that her fiancé had a daughter from a previous marriage whose mother passed away after the little girl was born. Her fiancé has been raising her on his own ever since.
The woman explained, “I am now in the picture and we are set to get married in 2022. I am also seven months pregnant with a precious little girl. I am not the stepmother type and I know I won’t treat his daughter the same way I will treat our child, to be quite honest she gets on my damn nerves.”
The little girl looks just like her mother, so it’s a constant reminder of the fiancé’s deceased wife. The woman explained that she wanted to make sure that her biological daughter would receive all of her fiancé’s attention, meaning that his 4-year-old daughter shouldn’t be in the picture. “She is very attached to her daddy and I’m afraid this is going to take away from my child’s bond with her father,” she said.
Reddit users were appalled by this situation. One user commented, “This has got to be one of the worst, sickest things I’ve ever read on bridezilla. She met him with a daughter and now she wants him to just get rid of her… Hope buddy smells the coffee, wakes up and tells her to take a flying leap.”
Another user said, “I couldn’t even imagine someone feeling this way about their SO’s child. My girlfriend is pregnant with our baby and has a 2-year-old son.” The user continued, “I love her osn like he’s my own, and I would never wish any bad thing like this on him. It’s a package deal.”
While it might be understandable that this woman has struggled to build a deep connection with her partner’s child, her idea of making him get rid of his daughter was absolutely shocking to anyone who read her message. She was trying to make sure this little girl grew up with no parents in her life just so she could have her fiancé’s attention for herself and her biological child.
